Reported Health Benefits of Honey and Cinnamon
Cinnamon and honey are two natural substances which have amazing reported health benefits. We've included some of them here.
Home RemediesFor thousands on years, honey, with its natural antibacterial properties, was uses as a treatment for a wide variety of ailments including bacterial and viral infections, arthritis, yeast infections, athlete's foot, external wounds, burns, cuts and more. Its use on wounds absorbed moisture from the air, promoted healing, reduced swelling and reduced pain. After the discovery of antibiotics, the use of honey for these problems gradually faded away.
NOTE: Use Only RAW HoneyProcessing or heating honey above the temperature of the hive can destroy the enzymes which are naturally found in honey. The hottest temperature in most parts of the world will not go above 120°F. If the honey is not heated above that temperature, it can reasonably be called "raw." CrystallizationAll raw honey will crystallize after setting for a period of time. This is one way you can spot raw honey in the store. It will not be "honey colored" and liquid. Raw honey can be gently heated (not above 120°F) if you want it liquid. PURE Honey May Not Be RAWYou will often find honey labeled as "pure." This does not guarantee that it is raw. Unless the label says it's raw, assume it isn't. Glass JarsWe recommend always buying honey that is in a glass jar, not plastic, to avoid any potential seeping of chemicals into the honey.
